Skydive Sicilia uses the newest Tandem Parachutes in the world.

All the equipment is periodically checked by RAI (Italian Aeronautical Register) certificated personell.

All the Skydive Sicilia Instructors are certified by the Italian Transport Department. For their training the have used the best and most modern tecniques

Skydive Sicilia suggests you bring comfortable shoes, long pants. If you wear contact lenses, tell the instructor. You'll be given protective eyewear

Accelerated Free Fall

Accelerated Free Fall (AFF) Course

The AFF course is the most modern and complete instruction method that transforms a person in a short time into a qualified parachuter

Duratation

One day of lessons in order to prepare your following day's first jump. It can be held any time of the year depending on the weather.

Instruction method

It is a seven level "step by step" course.

During the first three jumps you will be helped by two instructors. They will firmly hold you from the plane's exit at 4000 meters till your parachute opens. During your glide you will always be in radio contact till the landing.

From level three to seven only one instructor will assist you. At the end of the course you'll have acquired a parachute jumping tecnique it normally takes much more jumps in a traditional course.

Physical Requirements

All You need a Parachute Sport Medical Certificate

It is certainly the most complete and involving method to become a good parachuter. It's a full immersion ,course where you'll live together with two Internationally Qualified Instructors that will follow you during all seven levels of education.

The cost is 1.500,00 Euro for the theorical course, didactal material, parachute rent and 7 jumps from 4000 meters.
